Duality in Observation, 2013

This work was created in an effort to illustrate the duality between the observer, and that which is being observed. The resulting image being the point from which the observed is observing, yet presenting the wall as both a metaphoric and physical obstruction to that clarity of vision. This piece thus begins to break down that duality and make evident something that may be lacking in the way in which we, culturally have come to consume that which in many modes surrounds us visually, often resulting in a lack of conscious thought or moral recognition.
